Mike Metzger just looks like a guy that does really badass things, doesn't he? We mean, he's kind of hardcore. Case in point: He was the first person ever to do a back-to-back backflip in freestyle motocross (called FMX. We just learned that from him) -- his sport of choice. For those that don't know, FMX is an event where motorcycle riders attempt to impress judges through performing jumps and stunts. The more outrageous and difficult (and often dangerous), the better the ranking.

Mike is credited with basically starting the sport in a professional realm. It's huge at the X Games (FYI, if you want to learn more about the X Games, this has everything you need). Mike has performed stunts like backflipping over 80 feet and jumping over the Caesars Palace fountain in Las Vegas. So are you shocked to learn he's a fan of "All My Children," "One Life to Live," AND "General Hospital"?

We're not. OK, yes we were, but after talking to Mike, we get it. The shows have action: Jesse/Angie's helicopter wedding on "AMC", Sarah and Cristian going over the falls on "OLTL", "GH"'s Sam dangling over a bridge ... the list goes on. Plus all the relationship drama is like a sporting event in and of itself. Adrenaline junkies apply.

We have to add: Did you know Mike, who is also a tattoo artist, has a tattoo INSIDE his lip? It says "pain." Which he totes knows about, given his job. Wonder if Jason Morgan ("GH") has a "pain" tattoo, what with getting shot all the time ...We know Mike thinks the character is pretty awesome.
