The Duke of Style

Remember when Hilary Swank won her first Oscar and forgot to thank her husband? Or when Angelina Jolie won the Golden Globe for "Girl, Interrupted"? Or when Marcia Gay Harden won her Academy Award? Or when ... OK, you get the point. The common denominator? Celebrated fashion designer Randolph Duke. But perhaps his business card should also say: "All My Children" Fan ...

Yes, this red carpet demigod is really into "AMC," particularly the fashion. If you've ever seen what the women at Fusion -- the fictional cosmetics company at the show's center wear, you're probably not surprised. Basically, these women look like they walked out of a "Sex and the City" wardrobe room when they come to work everyday. Not that we're complaining.

One of the hottest trends right now, and a favorite of Randolph's, is non-conformity. Which is typical not only of the "AMC" fashionistas at Fusion, but of all the show's women. And Randolph backs that up. This guy reinvigorated Halston and has designed for everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Mariah Carey to Jennifer Aniston. Needless to say, he knows what he's doing.

BTW, if you like hearing about the latest trends, style tips, or just enjoy looking at pictures of people in appealing clothes, check out our Style page here.

We think Randolph -- who has had his own successful business for years -- needs to come in and give the Fusion ladies some help. Sometimes, they just get too wrapped up in their own drama to worry about the bottom line. But that's why the show is so addictive! Randolph would agree, dontcha think?

He isn't alone. Check out these other celebs who watch ABC Daytime and SOAPnet shows:
