Can we just take a moment to talk about how much we love Elizabeth Berkley? Let us count the ways. Host of "Step Up and Dance"; Tina in "The Real Blonde"; Nomi Malone in "Showgirls"; Jessie Spano in "Saved by the Bell" (we'd challenge you to find someone who can't recite Jessie's caffeine pill breakdown); soon-to-be star of "The L Word." Plus she's going to be in the upcoming "Donnie Darko" sequel, "S. Darko," which is all kinds of cool. She rocks! And now she rocks even more ... because she is a "One Life to Live" fan!

BTW, big point to anyone who gets the classic Elizabeth Berkley reference in the headline.

Elizabeth is all about the kick-ass women on "One Life to Live." Pregnant teen Starr, her take-no-prisoners mom Blair, survivor Jessica, single mom Gigi; these are just the tip of the iceberg of the strong ladies on "OLTL." And these are also the kind of roles Elizabeth prefers -- so is it any surprise she likes the show so much?

Elizabeth has had to rely on guts, inner strength and resiliency through her life and her career. When "Showgirls" didn't garner the reception everyone expected, Elizabeth had to face the situation all by herself, bouncing back with grace and strength. By the way, this was before anyone realized that "Showgirls" would become an enormous runaway cult hit.
