Shia's LaPinky Remains Intact (We Swear!)

You could say that Shia LaBeouf has more movie-star charisma in his pinky finger than most people have in their whole body. Thankfully, it appears that charismatic little digit will remain the source of Shia's power and won't need to be amputated, as had been rumored on Wednesday.

Shia's publicist, Melissa Kates, told E! News that an earlier Star Magazine report that Shia's crushed-hand injury would necessitate a pinky amputation was a "completely fabricated story."

Star had reported that Shia's injuries after flipping his truck in a July 27 accident -- one in which Shia was charged with DUI but not at fault for the crash -- would require a finger amputation, news which had reportedly thrown the set of his movie, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," into "turmoil."

Not so, says Team Shia, and indeed, photos of the "Indiana Jones" star around Los Angeles show his littlest finger happily attached.

Would a nine-fingered Shia still be all the LaBeouf you need?
