Hayden's New Roles

Hayden Panettiere's movie career is heating up. The "Heroes" star is making the most of her series hiatus, lining up one cool flick after another. The latest is based on the novel "Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List," about a girl and her gay male best friend who compile a list of people they say are off-limits for romance. The trouble starts when Ely kisses Naomi's boyfriend. We'll say!
Fox Atomic Films bought the rights to the novel with 18-year-old Hayden in mind. She's currently shooting the comedy "I Love You, Beth Cooper" for Fox Atomic, in which she plays the love object in the title, who's a -- sound familiar? -- cheerleader. Already in the can is the drama "Fireflies in the Garden," starring Julia Roberts and Ryan Reynolds, and Hayden's also attached to another future film, "Daydream Nation."
Annnd ... there's also the album she's been working on for Hollywood Records. The first single, "Wake Up Call," will come out before the album's release this fall.
