Goody Bag: Gwen Stefani Makes Scents

She's an international music sensation and fashion icon. She's a mom with baby number two on the way…now Gwen Stefani's dishing about her new pet project. Due in September, it's quintuplets!

The star is launching Harajuku Lovers, her line of five new perfumes from Coty. Love, Angel, Music, Baby, and G will come in doll-shaped bottles, each modeled after Gwen and her four real life back-up dancers, whom she calls her "harajuku girls."

Gwen continues to find design inspiration in the eclectic street style of Tokyo's Harajuku district. Since her first solo album, she's used the crazy costumes and poses of her backing quartet to pay homage to the punky, anything-goes aesthetic embodied by teenage girls in the district.

As for why she wanted to create five different perfumes: "Each girl has her own personality and sense of style," Gwen explained. "We're all saying something different with unique personalities." The fragrance notes range across the five scents from floral and musk to citrus and sandalwood, and price points range from $25-$45. This is her second foray into the fragrance market: She debuted her first perfume, L, in summer 2007.

Is Gwen's Harajuku Lovers collection an adorable new twist? Or do you take a wait-and-smell approach?
