One week they're getting married, the next they're breaking up. No one really knows what's going on between Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, but the couple's public spat on a Boston street revealed a little clue.

A witness told the Boston Herald that Ryan, 31, was "clearly being a baby," and Scarlett, 23, kept trying to grab his arm, but he'd pull away. She was seen saying, "Ry, come on, Ry. Stop."

"He kept switching directions on the sidewalk like he wanted her to leave," the spy said, "responding over and over, 'Roger that!' -- whatever that was supposed to mean." The pair promptly hushed up and moved on when they realized they were being observed.

Reports have leaked lately that Ryan and Scarlett, who've been dating for about a year, are unhappy because of different goals -- namely, that he wants kids and she doesn't. A source told London's Daily Mail that Scarlett's totally focused on her career and not ready to settle down. Makes sense to us -- she's still young. Maybe Ryan needs someone closer to his own age? He used to be engaged to Alanis Morissette, 33, while Scarlet dated Josh Hartnett, 29, before she got busy with Ry.
