After months of buildup, "All My Children" finally dropped the A-bomb on Monday and Tuesday. Affair bomb, that is: Zach (Thorsten Kaye) finally learned that wife Kendall (Alicia Minshew) had a one-night stand with Aidan (Aiden Turner).
Before anyone slaps a scarlet A on Kendall's chest, we should note that she and Aidan both thought their respective loved ones, Zach and Greenlee (Rebecca Budig), were dead at the time. Fans spoke out on our message boards -- and some weren't so forgiving of this little detail.
"So that gives her the right to have sex for comforting and grieving?" asked HilightsSpringFever. Added 4everGreen369, "Grief stricken or not she made the choice to sleep with Aidan, and she later made the choice to keep it a secret." Sue4759 was more, er, practical: " ... Kendall comes from good stock. Look at her mother," referring to the fidelity-challenged Erica. Ouch.
Not everyone was critical of Kendall. Milzwilz noted, "I think Kendall is ... angry at herself. Yes, she is lashing out [at Zach], but I think it is out of frustration at her own stupidity." And Qtee made us stop and think with this question: "I can't help but wonder, if we didn't know that Zach and Greenlee were alive when she and Aidan did the deed ... would we feel different about it?"
Your turn. What do you think about the Kendall-Zach drama?
