Sometimes, following in your parents' footsteps is a no-brainer: Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's adopted son, Connor, will make his movie debut in the upcoming Will Smith vehicle "Seven Pounds." Connor, 13, will show off his developing acting muscles as the teenage version of Smith's character.
Even with his famous pedigree and great connections -- after all, Tom and Will are close friends -- Connor still had to audition for the part. "Tom is so proud of Connor," a source told People magazine. "He's proud of him for really doing this on his own."
"Seven Pounds," which re-teams Will with his "Pursuit of Happyness" director Gabriele Muccino, is a drama about a depressed man who tries to make amends before offing himself -- but chance meetings with seven strangers wind up changing the course of his life. Rosario Dawson and Woody Harrelson costar in the film, which hits theaters in December.
Do you think Connor will find the same success as his famous parents?
