"Greek" Sneak Peek

Want juicy dish on "Greek"? You've got it! The cast and creators gathered for a panel presentation at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills on Monday night, and revealed lots of information about upcoming episodes, the characters, and themselves.

For starters, the Evan-Casey-Cappie (Jake McDorman, Spencer Grammer, Scott Michael Foster) story will continue. "We want to keep it interesting, and there's a lot to mine between Casey and Evan, and Casey and Cappie," said "Greek" creator Patrick Sean Smith. "We're still scratching the surface with them."

But that doesn't mean Casey won't flirt with other guys. Ryan Sypek (Junior Davis on "Wildfire") will guest as a frat boy who catches her eye on the May 26 episode, preceding the series finale of "Wildfire."

More Romance Ahead

Rusty's (Jacob Zachar) romantic life is heating up too. His new love interest, Tina (Lisa Wilhoit), debuted in the April 28 episode as the roommate of a girl whom over-eager Rusty scared away -- and she'll be back in the next few eps.

"I'm getting a boyfriend. Rebecca Romijn's assistant from 'Ugly Betty' is going to play my love interest," announced Paul James (Calvin). Max Greenfield -- Mode mag staffer Nick Pepper, also known to "Veronica Mars" fans as deputy Leo D'Amato and to "The O.C." viewers as young Sandy Cohen -- will debut as Michael on the May 12 episode. He'll stick around for the June 9 finale, which will see the Cyprus-Rhodes gang head off for Spring Break.

Showrunner Patrick confirmed a cliffhanger ending. "It kind of does shake things up," he said, noting that the ep will explore some new relationships as well as existing ones.

Didya Know?

The cast laughed, joked, talked over each other, and revealed some pretty surprising facts.

* Amber Stevens (Ashleigh) and Tiffany DuPont (Frannie) both originally auditioned for Casey, and Dilshad Vadsaria read for Ashleigh before getting cast as Rebecca -- with whom she had nothing in common. "It was a world I had no prior relationship to -- politics and money and living in the spotlight," she explained. "And I like to think I'm not a bitch."

* No one knows Cappie's full name ... not even Scott: "They gave me a prop wallet and all the credit cards said 'Cappie'!"

* TV stardom hasn't helped Jacob's love life: "It hasn't gotten me any more dates."

* Evan and Cappie are rivals, but Jake and Scott are good friends. "We're supposed to hate each other, but we don't," Jake said. "We can't look at each other when we work or we'll crack up," Scott added. They had fun choreographing their big fight in the flashback episode. "We had like 20 minutes of footage and they cut it down to like 10 seconds," Scott noted. "We kept adding things to it, like, 'Let's put blood in our mouths!'"

* The cast hangs out together all the time -- and they play a lot of Rock Band, the video game. Scott's the champ, of course -- he's actually in a real band. (link to "Greek" music stars story)

* At the University of Georgia, Tiffany wasn't in a sorority -- but she dated a frat guy. "I got to experience it without paying for it," she said of Greek life.

* Everyone agreed Amber is most like her character. "Sometimes Ashleigh approaches things with a more positive attitude than me, but I love playing her," said Amber. "She's a fun person to be every day."

* Scott thinks "Greek" is better than actual college. "We get paid to do all the college stuff, without having to study!"
