It was a bad year for teeth on TV. CBS has officially announced that the James Woods vehicle "Shark" and fan favorite "Moonlight" will not be back next season.
A Britney Spears-boosted "How I Met Your Mother," Julia Louis-Dreyfus's comedy "The New Adventures of Old Christine," and CIA drama "The Unit" are all returning to CBS, which will make its official schedule announcement tomorrow at Carnegie Hall.
ABC made its new season presentation today, and -- as suspected -- picked up new show "Life on Mars" for the fall. "Scrubs" has also officially made its way from NBC to ABC; it'll start its eighth season in the winter.
The network is waiting to decide on 17 more pilots, which will remain in contention for midseason. Shows not returning to ABC include "Oprah's Big Give," "Big Shots," "Cashmere Mafia," "Men in Trees," "October Road," and "Women's Murder Club."
Which show are you most sorry to see go?

I'm going to miss most of what they cancelled and not bother to tune into the news shows on CBS.. or ABC for that matter. I will miss Big shots, Men in Trees, October Road, and Womens Murder club which I thought was edgy and great. All of these shows were growing rapidly with new fans each week, UNTIL the writers strike... Not one of them had a Full Season and none had any closure. Everything was left hangin on Men in Trees (which was filled with humor and romance) October Road (with unanswered questions),Big shots which was just fun to watch and had a great cast, and again Women's murder Club, which was a unique cast of women who worked together to fight crime and solve their personal problems.. Great shows with a network with NO guts or knowledge of a good thing when they had it.. CBS and ABC made some BIG mistakes with the shows they cancelled....There is NO way that other programs can take the place of those that we were starting to look forward a to each week. Thanks writers for striking an making the networks cut all those programs short, who are you writing for now? The shows that will also be cancelled because the good ones you had have already been pulled.

2008 is the year of the vampire. Why CBS cancelled a fledgling show with lots of untapped potential that just was getting its footing, is totally beyond me. There is the Twilight movie, other networks have their own vampire show. CBS could have been the first, now they try out one bad show after the other instead of letting an established show gain momentum.

I guess ABC is full of a bunch of old farts that have no humor and are so bored. When voting on which shows to keep someone has to nudge them to wake them up and they just roll with the flow. ABC for years has always cut the best shows of the season and replaced them with boreing pilots. I am so sick of ABC. Why can't they take a vote from the viewers on their website. I'm sure alot more shows would be returning each season if they just asked us!

I am so disappointed that ABC is taking October Road and Men in Trees off the air. I was so looking forward to their return. They were really good shows and I looked forward to watching them every week. Both of these shows really represented life and it was so refreshing watching them. I don't think I will be watching anything on ABC now. I am sick to death of reality shows and game shows, etc. I also can't believe that they are bringing Scrubs to ABC. I have seen all the Scrubs I ever need to see. Goodbye, ABC.

Really irritated that ABC is taking MEN IN TREES and OCTOBER ROAD off their schedule. These were really good shows. I watched Cashmere Mafia and Women's Murder Club, but am not as concerned about their removal. Why should I even bother watching anything but reality television anymore because they seem to be the only shows that keep on going and going and going...etc. Boo to ABC!!!
