As Rex and Adriana head down the aisle on "One Life to Live," Gigi is there to witness the vows. She may have Rex's heart, but Adriana has the ring ... and a glamorous red-carpet-inspired wedding gown that's sexy and stunning. Although it's the bride's day to shine, Gigi is no wallflower in her hot pink ABS dress. The ladies may be battling for Rex's love, but in this forum they're fashion rivals. It's Adriana versus Gigi in a style smackdown.
Here's our behind-the-scenes scoop on the two very different looks and how you can get them too -- whether you're showing up as a guest or saying "I do."
"OLTL" costume designer Susan Gammie custom-made Adriana's one-shoulder silver and blue wedding gown. Susan's inspiration for the ice-princess look came from Adriana's insecure and bitchy transformation during her relationship with Rex. The dress makes a powerful statement about her need to be the best-looking bride possible, maybe so that it will make Rex realize she's the one. It's a gorgeous gown, reminiscent of French couture and Hollywood glamour.
Unfortunately, you can't get Adriana's dress off the rack anywhere. But if you're a bride, says Susan, you too can consider having a gown made. After all, it's your day -- why not express your personality in your look?
