Kelly Preston: Deadly Housewife

Kelly Preston -- pretty Mrs. John Travolta -- a gang leader? So HBO says; they've cast her in the dark comedy "Suburban Shootout" as a homicidal homemaker who heads up one of two girl gangs battling for control of the 'burbs. Kerri Kenney from "Reno 911!" and "Notes From the Underbelly" actress Rachael Harris are already set for roles in the series, which is based on a British show of the same name.

Sounds like "Deadly Housewives" to us!

Adam Goldberg is also heading to a new TV project. The "Entourage" actor has signed on to play a detective with a brain tumor in ABC dramedy pilot "The Unusuals."
