She got herself disinvited from the Costume Institute Gala thanks to a bitter feud with Vogue editor Anna Wintour, but there's one party Rachel Zoe won't be missing out on: the celebrity clothing line trend.
OK, you might not call Rachel a celebrity -- but many people would. People like ... Rachel Zoe, for instance. And hey, she's a TV star now! The stylist, who has worked her magic on It girls like Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, and Lindsay Lohan, has a new reality show called "The Rachel Zoe Project" coming to Bravo.
The perma-tanned, super-svelte trendsetter is teaming up with Beanstalk Group Inc. on the line of clothing and accessories. It's a licensing deal, which means Rachel might not have much actual design input. But if we don't see leopard print, long necklaces, and maxi dresses, we'll eat our oversized sunglasses.
Rachel's not exactly the reclusive type, so the only puzzling thing is why she didn't do this before. Whatever you think of her personal style, she's got a lot more genuine fashion chops than most of the famous names appearing on labels these days.
Do you think Rachel Zoe's style is "OMG, fabulous!" -- or just OTT?
