More "Betty" for Lady Becks

Let's go back almost one year, to when Victoria and David Beckham brought their international superstar selves to U.S. shores. As mom-of-three Vicky packed her (completely fabulous) belongings for the trans-Atlantic trip, she held a telephone conference with reporters. And in that fateful interview, she said "I must be the only person in Los Angeles who doesn't want to be in films. I don't think I am that good at acting actually."

The world rejoiced! We like our Posh dolled up and dour just for the sake of it -- not for Hollywood duty.

Come with us back to the present day. A day where Spice Girl Vick has starred in her own reality special, appeared on "Project Runway," and broke her "no acting" promise with a guest gig on "Ugly Betty" (in November's "wedding to remember" episode). Now prepare yourself: ShowBizSpy.com reports that Posh is returning to the fashion-driven ABC dramedy next season. More than once!

A show source says, "The producers are delighted she will return. She is going to feature quite a bit."

Sigh. There you have it. Proof positive that you should never trust the glib remarks of an in-transit, wildly famous, super-fashionable Brit.

Maybe Vanessa Williams's character, Wilhelmina, will lock her in a closet again?
