90210 Casting Update!

So it turns out Tori Spelling WILL be returning to "90210" to reprise her role as then-virginal Donna Martin. After all, why should Jennie Garth have all the fun?

"It's about time. My dad always wanted to do a new version of '90210,' so I'm sure he's beaming from above," Spelling has said of papa Aaron Spelling, who created the original series. "I'd love to be a part of it. That would make my dad proud."

Garth's original queen bee Kelly Taylor, who returns to West Beverly High as a guidance counselor -- can you imagine the advice these poor kids are gonna get? -- apparently shares a scene with her BFF while the two are shopping.

Spelling, who's due to deliver her second child with actor Dean McDermott in June, already has character notes for the producers, should they care to listen. "Playing the funny sex ed teacher at the high school would be funny, considering Donna Martin was America's most infamous virgin," she told People earlier this year. Other "90210" alumni are expected to make cameos during the first season, according to Eonline.com, but it's not confirmed whether "Dancing with the Stars" star Ian Ziering --who's reportedly been lobbying producers daily -- will also land a recurring gig.

Which original 90210-er would you like to see on the new show?

I think that they should start the spin-off with a little closure on the Kelly and Dylan relationship. Did they get back together after Donna and Davids Wedding? Will her name be Kelly McKay guidance Counselor? Us long time devoted fans need to know what the heck has been going on the past ten years!!!
