Celeb Wedding Trend: Take Two

Love is so in the air, and though the divorce rate is still about 50 percent, celebs are all about being spring brides. Case in point: Grammy winner Mariah Carey.

In true diva style, Mariah dated 11-years-younger MTV star Nick Cannon for just a few weeks before eloping to her home in the Bahamas for their April 30 "I Dos." In addition to the bringing the bling, the pair commemorated their big day with something a little more permanent. Nick got Mariah's name inked across his back in big bold letters, while she got the words "Mrs. Cannon" tattooed across her lower back.

The pair met a few years ago at an awards show, but sparks flew when they reconnected on the set of her video for "Bye Bye." "We really do feel we are soulmates," Mariah told People magazine after the intimate sunset ceremony on the beach. "I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me."

According to reports, the pair plans to wed again in New York City within the next six weeks. "Instead of trying to be like, 'You're invited, but Shhhh! Don't tell anybody,' we're just going to have another wedding next year," Mariah, 39, told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show last week. "Nick's plan is to have one every year!"
