Richard Dreyfuss Cast as Dick Cheney

Richard Dreyfuss is a brave man -- and no, we're not just reminiscing about that shark cage scene in "Jaws." The actor is in final negotiations to play America's most controversial and lowest-polling Vice President ever -- Dick Cheney -- in director Oliver Stone's upcoming movie "W."
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Richard would join the already-cast Thandie Newton as Condoleezza Rice, Elizabeth Banks as First Lady Laura Bush, and Josh Brolin as the president himself, George W.
At 60, Richard is the same age Cheney was when he took office. Add to that the men's shared need for corrective lenses and voila! Spot-on casting. Of course, as far as we know, Richard hasn't lived in any secret locations or shot any old men in the face recently ...
