Twenty years can't stand in the way of true love. Such is the story of Angie and Jesse Hubbard, who got a second chance at life together on "All My Children." The long-awaited wedding has Angie marching down the aisle in a lush one-shoulder bridal gown that celebrates the couple's rich history and love affair. "All My Children" costume designer David Zyla gave us the scoop about his inspiration for the dress and how you too can get a romantic wedding look.
David came up with the design after visiting a museum and seeing a vintage 1905 hourglass-figure gown. The old-school shape inspired Angie's dress, and its structured silhouette was born. He balanced the style with warm and modern touches. Most of the dress is made with silk twill, which reflects and catches light, adding to the dreamy quality of the dress.
