George Clooney: Single Again!

Hollywood's most notorious bachelor is single again!

George Clooney has split with Sarah Larson, his girlfriend of one year, a source tells People magazine. The pair, who first hooked up at the premiere of "Ocean's Thirteen" at Las Vegas bar The Whiskey, where Sarah was cocktail waitress, debuted as a couple last September at the Venice Film Festival. The relationship started on an intense note: the pair survived a motorcycle crash in New Jersey after just a few weeks of dating.

Most Clooney-watchers speculated that Sarah would be the one to permanently snag the elusive actor -- earlier this year, she became the first girlfriend who scored a spot on the red carpet next to George at the Oscars.

But in March, after the British version of Marie Claire published reports that the pair were engaged, George shot down the rumors, saying via a rep: "These reports are not true."

Larson followed a string of reported celeb dalliances, including Renee Zellweger, Teri Hatcher, and Krista Allen. But it seems George has a thing for non-Hollywood types, too -- he previously dated Celine Balitran, also a waitress, for ten years. "You realize who is good for you and who's not pretty quickly," Sarah told Harper's Bazaar. "I see him as a normal person, like anyone else. He just happens to have a well-known face."

Sarah, who was once a contestant on TV's "Fear Factor," definitely milked the Clooney year for what it was worth. She scored modeling gigs in L.A. fashion shows and was dubbed "It Girl" on the cover of Harper's Bazaar this month.

Luckily, George was always supportive of her career: "Your boyfriend better be," she told People. "If they aren't, you gotta kick 'em in the butt and walk away."

Still, she has said she wouldn't have noticed George if the tables were turned. "If George had been on a reality show, I don't think I'd have talked to him," Larson said in Harper's Bazaar's June issue. "It would have been like, 'That's nice.'"
