"Lost" Star Finds New Gig

When Christian Shepherd says you can "go now," you get. And so Harold Perrineau, whose character Michael was told to move on before finally being given a heroic death during the "Lost" season finale, has found a new show.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Harold, 44, has joined the ABC pilot "The Unusuals," about a New York police precinct. In the dramedy, he plays agitated Detective Leo Banks -- and while Michael couldn't die, Leo always wears his Kevlar vest because he's sure he will.

The question is -- does this eliminate the chance for Ghost Michael appearances on "Lost"? He still needs some closure with son Walt, not to mention their dog Vincent (bring back Vincent!). Plus, as executive producer Carlton Cuse told reporters in April, "The good thing about 'Lost' is that, a lot of the time, being dead leads to more work on the show. Actually, you can kind of improve your standing in the cast by being killed."

What do you think Michael's fate is?
