Mariah's Money Matters

After their intimate and impulsive April 30 wedding in the Bahamas, Mariah Carey and her new husband Nick Cannon announced plans to marry again in a bling-filled New York City ceremony with all their friends and family.
"The small wedding in the Bahamas was nice, but it was not Mariah's style," a source close to the singer told MSNBC.com. "The lady loves a spectacle."
But it seems the lavish bash may have been canceled -- because even Mariah's feeling the economic pinch these days!
The source says Mariah's expected funding for the Manhattan marriage fell through. "Mariah was willing to pay for the wedding, but the way she hoped to pay for the wedding was through the sale of photos," the source reported. "No one was interested."
So much for Nick's grand plan to have a wedding every year!
