Big news, gang.

Antonio Sabato Jr. has come full circle. After beginning his acting career on "General Hospital" in 1992, the actor has signed on for the second season of "Night Shift." And despite having not appeared on the series since 1995, he will be returning as Jagger Cates.

The casting should raise some issues for Kimberly McCullough's character Dr. Robin Scorpio -- Jagger's brother Stone was her first love. Stone died from AIDS, but Jagger's 5-year-old-son is named in his memory.

... Thankfully, they'll have all thirteen episodes of Season 2 to sort out any feelings THAT stirs up, as Antonio is set to star in each one.

Antonio's last return to the soap world was as Dante Damiano on "The Bold and the Beautiful," a gig he left in 2006.

Dizfreak1, I hear you. Perfectly said. Jagger is back. Can't wait for tomorrow night. I would have loved for Jason to be on Nightshift 2 as well. Bummer. Oh well, hottie Jagger will be enough hence to say. I wonder...

OMG - I am ecstatic about Jagger's return. I am a huge GH fan -been watching since Luke & Laura got married (the first time). I didn't watch last season of Night Shift but I will definitely be watching this season with Jagger. I love Antonio Sabato, Jr and his character Jagger. I have a Shih Tzu whose name is Jagger Cates. I wish they would bring back John Stamos.

Can I just say how happy that my beautiful Jagger is coming back so I can hug and drool on the tv every night that he is on. Luscious is all I can say to describe him!!!!

So... I am still wondering if they are going to finally bring Brenda back. She was on last season and kept trying to catch up with Jason but kept missing him. So what now?

I am so happy that General Hospital night shift is returning. I am a big fan of GH and I am very happy to have Jagger and Scorpio back they were favorites of mine I wish Sonny was on he is my favorite. On a more personal note they are saying that Jaggers son will have Autism. I have a child with autism,and I am looking forward to watch how GH tells this story.

I'm very excited. I've never watched Night Shift (I'm a big General Hospital fan) but Night Shift comes on too late but after hearing Antonio Sabato Jr. is going to be on . I'm willing to come to work tired . I'm tuning in!!!

Ohhh.... I guess SOAPnet's filters are filtering out John Stamos' character name on GH: B-L-A-C-K-I-E Lawless. It keeps omitting the name B-L-A-C-K-I-E! [Double Grrr...]

Well... actually, "" [John Stamos] was the first reason [when I was a pre-teen], but then Jagger got me watching again when I was a teen, and I've pretty much watched GH ever sinc. Antonio still looks AH-mazing, and even though I didn't care much for Night Shift Season 1 [I tried, but it just didn't impress me], I'll give it another go because of Jagger's return. <3
