"Days of our Lives": Emmy Round-Up

This was a big year for "Days of our Lives" at the Daytime Emmy Awards. Even though they didn't take home any trophies this time around, we were really excited that so many of the show's talented actors were nominated, including Thaao Penghlis (Tony) for Lead Actor, Judi Evans (ex-Adrienne/Bonnie) for Supporting Actress, Darin Brooks (Max) for Younger Actor, and Rachel Melvin (Chelsea) for Younger Actress.

Check out this video of Darin and Rachel sharing their showtime jitters. They shot it themselves with special video cameras that we gave out so the stars could capture all of the behind-the-scenes excitement. Pretty cool, right? Here's one of Stephen Nichols (Patch) introducing all of the lovely ladies at his table.

Speaking of lovely ladies, there were plenty of Salem stunners on the red carpet this year. Like Shelley Hennig (Stephanie) who wore an original creation by Project Runway alum (and very own red carpet fashion correspondent!) Nick Verreos. Here's a video of Shelley and Nick together. Isn't her dress amazing?
