Alison and Chris: What's Your Take?

After weeks of speculation and days of deliciously dramatic trial ... the verdict is in: Chris (Dylan Bruce) has been ruled officially not guilty of sexually harassing Alison (Marnie Schulenburg). And ever since the news came down, our "As the World Turns" message boards have been swirling with controversy.

Here's what people are saying:

DDowns391: "Chris being found not guilty was NOT RIGHT!!! He should not have been able to get away with all that he did."

BETTYEJ929: "Alison is nothing but a trouble maker who had no business in the Nursing program in the first place. She and only [she], is the reason she got kicked out."

Life_is_A_Beach: "Chris most certainly did have her kicked out ... Alison passed her test, and was moving on to the next, when Chris had her kicked out ... due to his jealousy of Aaron."

babyblues45: "The Hughes always have to be right and everyone else wrong! Alison didn't do anything wrong, so why is she the 'victim' again?"

How do you feel about the judge's ruling?

I think Ghris should have paid for locking ali in the room. Why do the Hughes always have to come out on top? Why can't someone else. ruffiemom59

Scary that ATWT is stepping back into the past where it's okay to exploit women. I don't consider myself a liberated woman, I'm just a person who wants to be treated fairly. I haven't seen every episode, but I saw enough to know Chris influenced Alison's career. Specifically, he told the training nurse that he wasn't comfortable with Alison treating his patient after he had seen Alison with Aaron. If he had just slept with Alison would he have said the same thing? Answer is obvious: No way! He wasn't worried about his patients when she wasn't passing, only after he saw her with Aaron. And as far as Alison being incompetent, she had already proved herself with the patients.
