In a season of androgynous or "borrowed from the boys" dressing, it's nice to know that there are certain trends we can turn to when we want to feel girly. And ruffles, whether they're subtly woven on a blouse or cascading to the ground in tiers of fabric, are one of those classic ultra-feminine trims that have made a comeback on the red carpet. But while most of us will never don Eva Longoria's massive floor-length Marchesa gown, it doesn't mean we can't experiment with the trend. As our slideshow of frill seekers shows you, keeping the focus on the main attraction ensures a stunning finish.
