J'Adorn:Skinny Belts

Oversized waist belts have been around for a while now, starting with Fendi's B-belt a few seasons ago and reinvented at Dolce & Gabbana Fall '08 show as bigger-than-big corset belts. But, as happens in fashion, too much of a good thing inevitably makes for a major pendulum swing -- which explains all the super-thin belts we've been seeing in Hollywood lately. We're not saying you should throw out all your mega-belts, but a skinny one is subtle, versatile, and -- gasp -- even practical.
