Serena van der Woodsen may party harder than Amy Winehouse and Nate Archibald can get around more than John Mayer, but in real life, Blake Lively and Chace Crawford are as chaste as can be.

In separate instances this week, both of the "Gossip Girl" stars -- recently named members of Hollywood's Next Wave by Vanity Fair -- defended their honor. First, in Seventeen magazine, Blake, 20, took issue with the perception that she's even remotely like Paris Hilton. "Since I have a dog and blond hair, that must mean we're alike. It's a dumb thing to say. I don't think that makes us similar," she fumed. "I don't know her, but I don't like being compared to anyone by somebody who doesn't know me. I'm my own person. I don't go to clubs, I don't party, I don't dance on tables and I don't like sex tapes."

Umm, you don't have to LIKE sex tapes to be in them. Who's making assumptions now?

Meanwhile, dreamboat Chace told OK! magazine he's sick of losing his shirt -- and he's letting the writers know. "There was an episode where we were crashed out on the sofa after a big night out and they wanted me to wake up in my boxers, so I argued with them about it," he said. "I mean, first of all, who gets wasted with their buddy, and smokes weed and then strips down to their boxers before they pass out on the couch?! No one does that. Why am I naked on my buddy's couch? It was weird so I fought it." It's a valid point, but if we may ask a question of our own: Who's a marketably hot star on a steamy teen show? Yeah, we thought so. Get shirtless, mister!
