"Restless" Star Out

Bummer alert! Vincent Irizarry is being written off of "The Young and the Restless." The popular actor -- who plays compulsive gambler David Chow -- confirmed his impending departure on his MySpace page.
Of course, this is no big surprise to regular "Restless" watchers. Private eye Paul recently filled in David's wife, Nikki, about his shady past -- it seems David just may have killed his other rich wives to pay off his gambling debts. Then in the July 1 episode, David flashed back to murdering Ji Min Kim. Apparently, when David can't cover his poker bills with cash, he moonlights as a hitman.
Finally, the Ji Min mystery is solved! We wondered if we'd EVER find out whodunit. So when should we expect David's dramatic exit from Genoa City? A "Restless" rep teases us: "Keep watching!"

I am so glad David is getting caught, i hope the Victor's beautiful young wife doesn't die ,because Nikki don't deserve him. She needs to be lonely for a while, to learn her lesson. I think Jill and Brad will end up in bed togather.

baby i dont care what nobody say Y&R is the ....it gets better and better everyday. the plot thickens as it goes i watch it 3 or 4 times a day to make sure i dont miss anything. And I say that Brad thinks he has it made but u can best believe that neither Jill nor Nikki is as dumb as he thinks they are his gone be out sleeping under the over pass somewhere. I feel that sharon is going to end up leaving Jack cause he wont do right for nothing. I think Lilly ought to slap the out of chloe. Dats a messy . last but not least u go nikki reed newman abbot newman carlton newman chow.....i think i got that right, it takes courage to leave someone u love

I agree, but what if that "classy" woman Sabrina turns out to be something much different?? Aside from that...I must admit, that was good her telling Victoria off yesterday...Victoria is really getting on my nerves now...enough with the snobby "that's my daddy" thing!!!

Good for Sabrina for telling Victoria off...Victoria is acting like a spoiled brat...and Vicky constantly backing her is a typical divorced parent enabling her spoiled child for to hurt her ex...Vicky and Nick had no problem at the beginning when their mother ran off and married in a hurry...but "Daddy" is the big bad guy for wanting the same thing??? Sabrina is a class act and it is refreshing to see someone with class married to Victor!!!

Victor is always talking about family but he is putting his own children out because they don't like Sabrina. I don't blame them. She is not good for Victot and she has secrets too. I like Victoria's character. She needs to get alittle more hard. You would think that Nikki being married to Victor should have taught her alittle something about business and people being able to investigate and to keep and eye on Brad knowing that he is trying to backstab her. I hope she gets him. I don't like his character. He was a pool boy and now he is a hustler being shady. He used to be sexy to me but now he has changed. By the way I am a woman. I think what jill proposed to Brad was just what he was waiting for...now, he's a snake in the grass. He is sneaky...knowing very well about David's problems because he caused a few of them himself (not like I like the David character because I don't). But this is Brad's way of getting his high rank in the company. As far as Jill, she gets on my nerves..I hope Catherine throws her out on her behind. I am wondering if there will really be a dark side to Sabrina??!! There has to be something and if there is, I wonder what Victor will do now that has spent millions on this "art" because of her.

I like Phylis I think she is always in trouble so far she has been good, I really do want Nikki and Victor together they belong with each other. Phyllis is a Bi***. I think Amber has done a lot of growing up. She made a mistake because she thought Daniel was "busy" with another girl or "groupies" and that is all because of Phyllis. I hope that Daniel forgives her and they get back together. Please do not put Colleen and Daniel together.

In all honesty, I have never warmed up to the David Chow character, his acting is hardly at the level of Nikki Newman and I can't imagine a scene with them in bed together. He's not romantic or sexy enough for Nikki's tastes. I am glad he's out of there.

Only on the soaps do they have all these vasectomies that don't work. I think the baby is Victor's but don't be surprised if somewhere down the road he ends up with Nicki again. It's happened so many times over the years.

Amber may have a shady past, but Daniel WAS addicted to porn to the point it destroyed his marriage to Lily. In my book Daniel's no prize, so Phyllis needs to stop acting like her baby boy's halo might get tarnished.

I remember Jack's son...I think his name was Kimo. Does anyone remember that Mrs. Chancellor's maid Esther had a baby MANY years ago.....he would probably be late twenties or so. Also I think there was a story line where Phyllis was trying to kill Christine (aka Cricket) by sending her poison flowers. Am I remembering this right? And John Abbot never found out Ashley was not his biological daughter. Funny how they just drop story lines isn't it? I always thought it would be a good story line to have Sharon pregnant by Nick at the same time Phyllis was pregnant by him. Oh well, I guess that's why I don't make the big bucks.

I think David Chow is one of the best looking actors on the soaps. I hate to see him go. I knew all along he was the one who murdered ji min. However, I don't think he and Nikki made a "believable" couple. He was not classy enough for her...he needed to be with a younger woman. I just love Y&R...

I have a comment about V & S; N & D; P & N; S & J; G & J, C & C. 1. TGVN should know better than to screw his daughter's bgf. How sleezy. He need to go back to Nikki. They belong together. 2. Nicki & David. That was one of the worst mismaches ever. Nikki had to much class for DChow. If it had not been for the Kiss that was seen around the world, where would he be now. He played on Nikki's emotions while TGVN was away looking for his then absent son, who turned up in NYC. Go figure. 3. Phyllis is an old from why back when she killed Dan father & tried to kill Christine & Paul by running them down in the middle of the street. How very soon the writers forget. Come'on writters. Do your research. 5. Sharron & Jack they both deserve each other. He less so than her. Where is Diane at. She was more his speed. What about his Vietnameese son. Bring him back. don't you remember that before she got pregnant with Nick... Victor did have a vasectomy.... that is why when Victor was told she was pregnant he did not believe it was his... it later came out that the surgery did not take.... that is also why he could father Adam....

don't you remember that before she got pregnant with Nick... Victor did have a vasectomy.... that is why when Victor was told she was pregnant he did not believe it was his... it later came out that the surgery did not take.... that is also why he could father Adam....

Hey Beachie18, how much of a 'veteran viewer' are you, really? Enough of one to know Victor had a vasectomy? Actually, he sustained an injury, and was unable to father children. Surgery helped him with that, thus Victoria, then Nicholas were born...and the rest is history. The vasectomy must have been after Adam was born. And little Abby was born to Ashley, and Victor was the father only from his sperm being frozen. I think, my memory is not what it used to be either, but I do know Ashley stole it and that is how she had Victor's baby. Also, once you have epilepsy, then you are 'epileptic' for life, only medication can control the seizures. What does that have to do with Victor having a vasectomy anyway? Or not being able to remember?

I think Vincent Irizarry is just plain ol' "eye candy"...easily one of the most gorgeous men God ever created! But I think it is time for David to be exposed, and I think Nicki will end up in danger before all of this is over. In any event, I'm just glad this Ji Min murder mystery is finally solved, once and for all. ...And I also think that Nicki and Victor will find their way back to each other. This "Sabrina/Phillipe" storyline is going to punch Victor right in the solar plexus...I think Sabrina's baby is Phillipe's. After all, we veteran viewers know that Victor had a vasectomy. Is this something Victor forgot about when he had epilepsy?? I hope the writers won't insult the viewer by expecting us to have just forgotten all about it!

It is about time. This story line was so boring that I just would walk away until something else shows up...It took the writing over a yr to clear up the Jin killing.

Vincent Irizarry is superb as David Chow. My wish is that he will return as Dr. David on All My Children. He is one of my favorite stars. The AMC fans want him back.

I've never really thought David was a good guy but he sure lit up Nikki's eyes. I think this will be her, David did support her the way Victor never did. His character could have still be of use.
