Who Killed Richie on "All My Children"?

Richie (Billy Miller) shows up dead today on "All My Children." Which is sad, because he was such a deplorable baddie, and we mean that in the best way possible. RIP, Richie (although no one in town is saying that). So there's been some blog buzz about who did what, but we wanted to give you a chance to weigh in before the big reveal this week.
Yes, everyone had reason to do him in. But the question is, who did it? Let's review some of the possible suspects based on motive and means:
*Annie (Melissa Claire Egan): Richie's equally nutty sister, Annie was being blackmailed by Richie to help him out of his legal troubles. Richie knew that Ryan's vasectomy didn't take, and thus Annie was secretly trying to get pregnant so she'd be attached to Ryan forever. Which would make Ryan really mad. Given that Annie was happy to have Richie "take care" of Greenlee (Rebecca Budig), would she be above killing her brother?
*Zach (Thorsten Kaye): Richie hit him with a car, then left him to die by sealing him in a bomb shelter. That would motivate someone to murder, we think.
*Colby, Dre, and Cassandra (Brianne Moncrief, Sterling Sulieman, and Yaya DaCosta): While they don't have a direct reason, exactly (but I'm sure we could think of one), the three teens are driving home when they hit something that goes THUMP. Could it have been Richie?
*Jackson (Walt Willey): Richie kept his little girl, Greenlee, locked in a bomb shelter for weeks, We haven't seen Jack for a few days. Hmmm... .
*Amanda (Chrishell Stause): This may seem like a stretch, but hear us out: Richie terrorized her friends at Fusion, including bestie Babe (Amanda Baker). Plus, she's got psycho genes (Janet from Another Planet is her mom), and she's not really an obvious suspect, which, in daytime, makes her a likely killer. Our message boards users have picked up on this possibility as well.

Well, I think that Annie whacked him with the crow bar while he was fixing the tire and left him in the road to die. Then Colby, Cass, and Dre ran over him. Although it really doesn't matter because I am glad he's off the show, but will he mysteriously return????

The writers dropped the ball on this storyline. They had the makings of a good murder mystery with so many possible suspects, but instead revealed his killer from the outset, unless it turns out that Annie's blow to the head wasn't what killed Richie. I didn't get the gist of what Angie told Jessie on the phone. I don't know whether she said that is what caused his death.

i don't think it was Colby, Dre and Cassandra... I think he was already dead before they hit him... I believe Zach didn't do it... He got away from Kendall, Babe and Greenlie... His sister probably did it to stop the blackmail, but theres not enough mistery there... Aiden and Ryan where were they... He wanted to hurt Greenlie both care about her dearly... Don't worry cuz Jesse will find out very soon... Oh what about J.R. He kidnapped Babe and he kidnapped J.R. and stole his bone marole... I can't wait to find out...

Your list of suspects is a good one...BUT...HAVING WATCHED THIS SHOW FOR QUITE A WHILE, AND SEEN A NUMBER OF "VILLIANS" KILLED, and they always make everybody a suspect, it will probably turn out to be NONE OF THE ABOVE. I ythink he was already dead when Dre (driving Colby's new car) ran over him.

Amanda is the "red herring" as well as Zach. Jack wouldn't do it even though he might think about it. To get into the killers psyche we must go back into their childhood. Who is better equipped with the mind of the killer psyche than the sibling who grew up knowing that her brother murdered a little boy in a lake & made it look like an accident. You will note that there are no visibly distinguishing marks on the body, (yet) except for the tire tread marks. Annie had not only motive, but opportunity & means. The fact that Colby, Dre & Cassandra might have driven over his already dead body is the polished icing on the cake. In Annie's mind, which had begun to slip into Richie mode for several weeks now, she was trying to help him. It was all an accident...wasn't it????

I've always thought she was a selfish sicko, "me" "me" Me" Me" type of person like her crazy Mom and why not, she got locked in a bomb shelter, it broke up her and Adan, and her character is a screen stealer..( which I hate). Everything is about "Greenlee" so why not give her a vacation in jail...I, for one wouldn't mind her gone to give others a chance to shine. I hope Ryan does NOT go back w/her!

I say it was his father. He finally found out the truth about Ritchie. So he felt so hurt and betrayed that he killed him. My theory is: That Ritchie called his father and asked for his help. Ritchie being Ritchie got him to meet him. But when his father arrived Ritchie told him everything because he though his father was going to help him. But after hearing the truth and Ritchie laughing at him He Killed him. Then left his body on the road. That is what Dre ran over. But that's my theory.

My hope for this mystery is that _Jesse_ will solve it. I don't recall a single crime solved by the authorities since Trevor left. Poor Derek was little more than a foil in recent years. Now that they have brought Jesse back, please, please, please give him something to do!

This one will be a puzzler because so many of them have reasons to kill Richie. Obviously we are gonna suspect Annie, but I don't think she has the balls to do it. Even though she hates his evil ways, she still has love for her bro. Another person we might suspect is Zach. Now Zack does have the balls to do it but he promised Kendall and the man always keeps his promises to her. Jack??? Yeah right! He has too much to lose. I would probably put my money on Aidan or Krystal. No one messes with her baby doll. This is going to be the most dramatic "whodunit" storyline and it's going to be someone we NEVER expect. I can't wait to see who actually killed Richie Novak.

I think Zach killed Richie and left him in the road as "roadkill", when Dre, Cassandra and Colby ran over his body. I just wish that AMC had kept him on for a while longer. He could really have wreaked havoc with all of the "usual suspects", especially Annie and Babe. I am personally sorry to see Richie dead and gone. I had high hopes for him.
