Don't Talk to Strangers! That sentence has absolutely nothing to do with this article or "General Hospital," but we felt like typing it because it's one of our favorite Rick Springfield songs. Y'all better bust out your copies of "Working Class Dog" (yes, he has more recent stuff, but we're old school) because Rick Springfield is back on "GH" today as Dr. Noah Drake.
When last seen in 2007, Noah was forced to impersonate rocker Eli Love (who, coincidentally, looked exactly like him) while the latter was in recovery. It was a move that cost Noah his sobriety. The character -- and Rick Springfield -- quietly exited the "GH" stage last year. When he returns today, we discover that Noah checked himself into rehab, then went off to do Doctors Without Borders work.
Clearly he's been out of touch, because he gets a major bomb dropped on him today when he discovers he's going to be a granddaddy. His son Patrick's (Jason Thompson) really the one in for a shock, though: When Noah hears Patrick is suing Robin (Kimberly McCullough) for visitation, he offers to step up and testify on Robin's behalf -- against his own son! Which is just what Anna (Finola Hughes), Robin's mom, is doing for Patrick, so it's sort of wonderfully geometric.
What do you think of Noah's decision to side against Patrick?

Oooh - how exciting - Noah Drake returns (although they have paged him right along, which I thought was cool, but now won't ring true). Noah is nirvana and Eli Love rocks the rock world (kind of like Rick Springfield). I am excited to see if he will sing the song I just heard from itunes last week "What's Victoria's Secret" from his cd to be released July 29th. So much excitement. How cool to see that gorgeous face everyday on GH! I think Noah's decision to support Robin is ridiculous though - he so should support his son's right to see his child! They make it out like Noah was a bad dad- he adored his son and did do stuff in between doctoring, with him, til the wife died. He should be on Patrick's side!
