Blake's Cover Girl Blues

Sometimes we can't verify a story, but it sounds so good we just have to share. We don't know if this story is true, but folks are talking about it and we want you to know about it!

Buzzed-about show, adorable boyfriend, three magazine covers in one month -- looks like everything's coming up roses for "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively. So why does the actress have a thorn in her side? The New York Post reports she's not thrilled with one of those three mags, whose photo selection leaves much to be desired.

A source tells the paper, Blake's "Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan covers are great, but her camp is not thrilled about her Seventeen cover ... Her rep felt the Seventeen photo looked nothing like Blake."

We kind of have to agree -- check out the picture (at left) and decide for yourself.

Blake's publicist confirmed that her camp wasn't "over the moon" with Seventeen -- but any calls made to the mag to complain were made by them, and not Blake. "Blake hasn't even seen the shots yet," the rep explained.

A brief script for boyfriend Penn Badgely's benefit, to use when she does see them:

"You're much prettier than that, no one reads Seventeen. Now let's get some ice cream."
