"Gossip" Boy Turns Designer?

Psst ... Want to hear a juicy piece of gossip? English actor Ed Westwick, who plays the fast-living, hard-partying, snappy-dressing Chuck Bass on "Gossip Girl," might have designs on a clothing line.

Ed-in-real-life may not be as Machiavellian as his on-screen character but, like Chuck, he does enjoy the nightlife in the Big Apple. The devilishly good-looking Brit, who's the lead singer in a band called Filthy Youth, is regularly seen around town looking very stylish indeed -- often in coordinating plaid!

So where does this rumor of a fashion line come from? Well, the sexy star has a photo spread in the August issue of Vanity Fair, where he's dressed in Thom Browne clothes and Jack Spade shades, and he's let it be known that he's looking forward to collaborating with one of those labels. Which one? That remains a mystery, but we promise we'll let you know as soon as we get the goss.
