What should Ryan do?

On today's "All My Children," Ryan (Cameron Mathison) does what he does best (well, other than taking his shirt off): He saves someone. Specifically, his ex-wife Greenlee (Rebecca Budig). When Greens gets knocked out on her boat, Ryan races into the water to save her. As we know, Ryan got shot in the head (!), which caused memories of the last four years to go bye-bye. He's been slowly getting flashes back, but today, he gets them all. Full scope -- Ryan remembers EVERYTHING. Do you think he remembers Greenlee used to look like Sabine Singh? Whatever, anyway, in addition to some awesome flashbacks, he remembers how much he loves Greenlee.

This means Ryan's wife, Annie (Melissa Claire Egan), faces some serious competition. Which is great because it means she'll go battier. Fine by us. Ryan's admitted to not having any sort of romantic feelings towards Annie, which leads to his conundrum. And we seriously cannot figure out what he should do.

If Ryan chooses to be with Greenlee, he's following his heart and his passion, but potentially disrupting Aidan (Aiden Turner) and Greenlee's romance (although he doesn't know they're back together at this point) AND definitely hurting Annie (and, potentially, their daughter Emma). Or is telling Annie the truth -- that he doesn't love her -- the more humane thing to do? Lastly, what about the idea of trying to make a go of things with Annie? After all, they do have a child together. Plus, keeping Annie happy keeps a psycho off the streets.
