Are You Ready For a Braff-Less "Scrubs"?

At last, the news-filled Television Critics Association press tour (say that five times fast) day we've been waiting for! FX and ABC made their presentations, and we've got the roundup on what's happening to "Scrubs," "Private Practice," "Nip/Tuck," and more!

Variety reports:

- "Scrubs," which is making the jump from NBC to ABC this fall, isn't necessarily in its last season. Depending on how it does, ABC says they may keep it going with new (read: less expensive) stars.

Which is for the best, really. We don't want to wait any longer for Zach Braff's "Garden State 2: Further Introspection Set to Indie Music."

- "Private Practice" is getting more surgery, and less soapy. ABC president Steve McPherson told reporters that last year's efforts to differentiate the series from "Grey's Anatomy" kept Kate Walsh's character from getting her medicinal mojo on, and that'll be fixed.
