How much does Ashton Kutcher know about Demi Moore? Not enough to win at his own game! Ashton, who moonlights as a producer of reality TV series like "Punk'd" and "Beauty and the Geek" when he's not making movies, has a new show for ABC called "Opportunity Knocks" -- a game show based on how well families know each other. But Ashton, 30, admits he'd lose if he were ever a contestant.
"I don't know that I would do too well, I gotta be honest," Ashton said at a Television Critics Association event to promote the series, which premieres September 23. "There are some things I would know a lot about, but I'm not very good with dates. It takes me 20 minutes to remember my anniversary. If I got the right questions I'd do well, but there are things that I just don't know."
On the other hand, he's convinced that the missus -- Demi Moore -- would be "genius. My wife would dominate the show," he said, adding that moms generally do better than their husbands and kids at the game. "In general, women have more compassion than men and more general awareness," he explained.
As the title suggests, "Opportunity Knocks" takes the quiz format to families' homes. "We set up the stage on the lawn and they shut down the whole street," noted Ashton. Candidates are pre-screened, but they don't know they're on the show until the TV cameras show up. Then they compete for cash and prizes, including cars and appliances.
