Sarah Jessica Parker thinks a TV show can identify the next great "American Artist." According to the Hollywood Reporter, the "Sex and the City" star is developing a reailty series for Bravo that will put aspiring artists to the test with challenges in multiple mediums -- from painting to sculpture (and if we had our way, elbow macaroni collage. Or jelly bean portraiture). The contestants' work will then be judged by a panel of experts, and debated endlessly by viewers.
If picked up, the show would join Bravo's extensive roster of "completely-subjective-creative-skill-competition" series which already includes "Shear Genius," "Top Chef," "Top Design," and for one more season, "Project Runway."
Do you think it's right to judge art?
