On the heels of yesterday's news that "Friday Night Lights"'s odd-but-smoking-hot couple Tim Riggins and Lyla Garrity were going to give love a go comes even more advance word on the series's third season.
Entertainment Weekly reports that a job change is in the works for Tami, Tyra's looking forward to college (while OVERlooking sweetheart Landry. Again.), Matt's QB1 status is up for grabs, and the long-absent Mrs. Saracen is back on the scene. Read it all straight from the executive producer Jason Katims's mouth, below!
On Tami's new gig as ... high school principal!:
"It starts out with Coach loving it. Tami's bringing home this big paycheck. But at a certain point, he realizes that this woman is now technically his boss. It definitely tests them a little bit."
On Matt Saracen's QB competition:
"[He's] a freshman phenomenon who has been moved to Dillon from Dallas by his very wealthy parents to play on the Panthers and take Matt Saracen's job."
