Midnight Screening, Anyone?

MTV would like, if they may, to take you on a strange journey. That's right, folks, everyone's favorite Transylvanian transvestite is back -- they're planning a remake of the 1975 cult classic, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Let's do the time warp again, shall we?

While there's no word yet on who'll play Brad or Janet or Frank or Eddie -- or anyone else for that matter -- MTV has confirmed that they plan to use the original script penned by director Jim Sharman and Richard O'Brien for the two-hour film, due Halloween 2009. But while all your sing-along faves, like "Time Warp" and "Dammit Janet," will be included, the producers also plan to add some new tunes.

The original flick, starring Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, and Meatloaf (remember him?) got off to a rough start, but quickly became a cult classic, clocking in a $140 million box office since its release -- because it's been playing in theaters ever since, making it the longest-running film in history.

Wouldn't Matthew McConaughey just rock as Frank?

Who would you like to see star in the "Rocky Horror" remake?
