"Days of our Lives" legend Deirdre Hall is such a champ that the long-running soap has decided to double her screen time. But you won't be seeing more of Marlena ...
Instead, Deirdre will also be playing Marlena's (occasionally evil) twin Samantha on the show, a role originated by Deirdre's own sister, Andrea Hall. "I'm going to play two parts coming up -- my twin sister, Samantha returns and it will be fascinating and exciting," Deirdre told TV Guide. "I've never played two parts before. It has my heart pounding! It's not just playing two characters, but learning the dialogue for both characters."
This isn't the first time Deirdre's pulled double duty. She and Andrea also both spent time as oddball waitress (and Marlena/Samantha look-alike) Hattie during the Salem Serial Killer days.

Over the years since I've been watching "Days", nothing is changing but the same people over & over again? Why can't you bring back some of the old people back on the air? I know that things have to change but not all at once. I love all the character on Days of our lives! Stefano has missed up so many lives that no one knows what to expect? Please bring back Celeste! I don't believe in psychics but when Celeste does it,"It makes everything comes so real & amazing!"

I am so thrilled that Stefano is back! The show is so much more interesting with Stefano is on it. I want to see more of Stefano, and much more of Tony. I don't want Tony to go bad though, but the writers have got to come up with something interesting for him and John to get into. I also want to see much more of Victor. These are the interesting charactors on the show. I also want Sami and EJ together. They have so much chemistry!!! I think Stefano and Kate would be great together. If not, get Kate back with Victor. And where is Celeste? Get her back, I love watching her.

stefano, Please, its being to get stupid. why can't you make it more real! he has raised the dead, sole johns memory. and came back himself soooo many times. can't you think of something else. how about changing his wicked ways give him a woman. maybe he and kate will be a couple????

i thought that Marlena's sister was suppose to be dead and now you're bringing her back. this is really getting old. she has died so many times or left or changed into the devil. come on lets get real. let the dead stay dead and the living fine someone new!

I have watched Days of Our Lives Since the first episode,When i can,t watch it i tape it.Keep the excitement going.I hope Sammy and twins get togeather for good.martha
