B5 Guests on "All My Children"

R&B boy band B5 are totally political activists! Well, sort of. On Friday, April 25, they appeared on "All My Children" as themselves, performing at a rally for imprisoned glamour goddess Erica Kane (Susan Lucci). To the cries of "This is America -- freedom for Erica!" the hit singers performed their single "Erika Cain."

While the spelling is different -- hey, they're artists! -- the tune was definitely inspired by the "AMC" character. It's about a "dream girl" who just makes you crazy. Sounds like the perfect theme song for Erica's long-suffering ex, Jack.

The five Breeding brothers -- B5, get it? -- are fans of the show, so they approached producers about being on it. The group, which records for Diddy's Bad Boy label, first exploded in 2005 as part of Radio Disney's "Jingle Jam" tour. Their latest album, last year's "Don't Talk, Just Listen," hit No. 5 on the R&B/Hip Hop charts.

Erica even makes an appearance in the music video for the song -- in handcuffs and heels, like a good model prisoner. Wanna see it?

Or you can see their performance from the show.
