Kate Moss to Crowd: 'I'm Engaged!'

Kate Moss can't keep her mouth shut! At least this time it's happy news: She's engaged! That's what the supermodel recently blurted out to a group of passersby in Amsterdam. The lucky guy is Jamie Hince, guitarist for rock duo the Kills.

A witness said, "The pair were in a bar looking very loved-up. Kate was so excited ... it looked like she had just accepted his proposal there and then. She was very happy. She came out giggling and seemed a little bit tipsy ... . She told fans, 'I'm getting married.' One girl asked her when, and she said, 'Soon.'" Kate, 34, and Jamie, 39, have been dating since last summer. Kate was fresh from a volatile relationship with Babyshambles singer (and notorious partier) Pete Doherty. That romance (and their frequent fights -- she once changed the locks on him) made the blogs daily.

Kate's friends are thrilled she's done with Pete, because they thought he was bad news. One told a British tabloid, "We were convinced that, for some unknown reason, she saw him as the love of her life."

Guess not, if she's getting hitched to Jamie.

Still, this isn't Kate's first engagement. Aside from Pete, she was also betrothed once upon a time to Johnny Depp.

Think Kate and Jamie will make it last, or is she just rebounding from Pete?
