He may be too cool for school -- after all, he nixed making a return to West Beverly High on the CW's "90210" revamp -- but Luke Perry will still be hitting your TV this fall.
The former Dylan McKay has scored a juicy guest spot on the September 23 season premiere of NBC's "Law & Order: SVU," according to EW.com.
The premiere also features guests Sara Gilbert and Julie Bowen (you know, that blonde chick from "Ed"). According to EW.com, Luke and Julie play a couple accused of abusing a foster kid; Sara plays the kid's biological mom.
As if all that wasn't enough to make you set your TiVO, also on tap for "SVU" is "One Tree Hill" hottie Michaela McManus, who's scored the role of the new assistant district attorney on the show.
But Luke, come on! You totally CAN go home again. And we hear Beverly Hills is beckoning!

Kelly and Dylan belong together. If Aaron Spelling put them together at the very end that is the way it needs to stay. He ended the show perfect. If you are going to have the original cast make special guest stars then you need to pay them all the same amount. Tori's father is the one who came up with the best show that lasted for 10years so if you are going to want this spin off to work well you better keep him in mind. But as far as I stand KELLY AND DYLAN FOREVER THEY ARE SOULMATES DON'T MESS WITH THAT!!!!!!!

First Donna then Dylan, What's the use in having a reunion if you're not going to have all the cast members there.

Come on it won't be the same without the "old crowd". Tori, Luke, Brian, Ian,Jason, jennie we need them all ... I really hope they all get to come back at some stage. I think Tori is getting ripped off if it is true that she's getting paid less. It ended with Kelly and Dlyan making eyes again... so it should continue the story lets get them back together again. I really hope they don't mess this one up or it'll go down fast

There is only one Dylan McKay and he needs to come back and make us all happy. I was a fan of BH 90210 from day one and I still watch the reruns on Soap Net. I would love to see him come back for the spinoff. I am very happy Jenny Garth is coming back, I think she was great on the show. I think the one and only Luke Perry is the only one to play Dylan McKay. He could do alot to his character if he were to come back. I for one hope he does change his mind and comes back, it would definitely heat things up and make things interesting.

I think Luke Perry could use the work! he is a underrated actor. Besides, what would 90210 be without it's resident oustider? It would be interesting to see him mix with Father Harry, since Dylan's a self proclaimed "non religion" kind of guy yet has had a rough background. Anway, I am curious to see how long Perry can hold out before going to 90210,even if it were a couple of guest shots. Yes, Dylan McKay you CAN go home! And we want you to!
