i am very disappointed in all the scenes with Eden and Tamara. human nature implies that's just not natural. it does make me very uncomfortable. since i've watched the show for years too, right now i'm just fast forwarding and hoping they will move away again or repent! Seems to me like AMC will be losing a lot of viewers if they continue to air the Bianca/Reese garbage. It's disgusting! If it's as natural as some keep saying then why didn't nature allow a man/man or woman/woman relationship to be able to procreate. Only a man/woman relation is what nature and God intended. I am a viewer of over 25 years but will no longer watch until AMC ends this storyline.

I am so sorry that All My Children has decided to take the story line of Bianca and Reece. I have watched this show since it came on. I have kept up with it when I worked by VCR. I don't even want to turn it on the days I know these two are in the story line. I am so glad I can mute it, go do something else, and when the story changes I can watch. It that is the life these have chosen, don't keep on this story line. Send them back to Paris! Honey1

I agree with MelissaV756 - if you don't like what is on your TV screen, change the channel. Simple. My personal feelings about Bianca and Reese kissing or making out on the couch - no big deal, but after a certain time limit - come on go to the next scene already. I feel the same way with JR and Babe (when she was still alive) and every other couple on AMC. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and what they decide to watch or not watch on TV. As for relationships - they take a lot of work at times and if two people are truly happy and love each other does it really matter if they are of the same sex? I have a male cousin who is gay and he and his partner have been together for over 25 years.

For the people who commented saying that the lesbian story is "filth" and shouldn't be aired on a daytime tv where an innocent child might walk in and see it, the last time I checked children are usually in school most of the year during the time the show is aired. Duh! Also, whether you like it or not, you cannot deny the fact that homosexuality exists in the world, not just America so your children will be exposed to it sooner or later if they haven't already. Plus, most of what children learn get it from other kids in school. On top of that, I think a last thing I child will care to watch even if they were home during the day is a ***** soap opera!!! Get over it.

My partner now is my Soul Mate and we are domestically joined. She takes me on all-inclusive vacations every year and the surprise is, I never know where I am going next and we have a lot of fun. In my eyes my Wife is my life and I love her with every ounce of my being. Can you hypocrites say that about your relationships? Bianca and Reese relationship on AMC is exactly like mine, minus the millions. We are doing better, than some people are economically, and we are disgustingly HAPPY! Can all of you say this? My problem is not with the fact that Bianca is gay, it's Bianca herself. I hate this character with a passion. She is perhaps the most selfish and self absorbed of all of the Kanes and yet AMC wants us to believe she is Mother Teresa. I am also tired of ER using AMC as her fall back anytime she needs exposure and money. As for her current return, she would have been wise to get herself in better shape and sharpen her acting skills. This time around this character is pathetic and nauseating. Acting choices are horrendous. Once again Bianca will be duped in love and this time she deserves to lose everything.

Today was my last day to watch "All My Children". I do not tune in to watch lesbian lovers all over each other. This must be another attempt for ABC to convince people that gay families are normal. Children are exposed to daytime television so maybe you just want to influence their young minds. No wonder kids today are dysfunctional as well as their families. For the record, AMC's ratings will sky-rocket, simply because it is reaching a much broader audience and one that is not as narrow-minded as some of you haters out there. I stopped watching Soaps years ago, because it showed the same old thing and now I am delighted to be watchning AMC, because it reflects my own life. AfterEllen.com is writing about it. I am sure they are also looking to see more realistic portrayals of LGBT. So, all you narrow-minded, bible bashing, haters can just stop watching, because the LGBT community will watch and bring the ratings up. Believe me, there are plenty of us. Never thought an African-American would be president! Guess what? We have an African-American President, Bianca & Reese on AMC, and Hope, that prejudice will end...

I really applaud AMC for revisiting the character rolls within the LGBT community. I have seen YouTube videos of the first attempts of alternative life-styles and I do not feel it was given a chance. We in the LGBT Community are tired of being portrayed as sex-craved, misguided and confused individuals that do not know what we want. We are not confused and some of us really want committed relationships with our partners. I am in one and have been for the last three years and going strong. We love, and desire to be as other recognized married couples. I just hope AMC can give Bianca and Reese the opportunity to be a real-life family with their children. I also want to give my condolences to the ABC, AMC and Eileen Herlie family. She will be missed. She loved Bianca and supported her in every way. Myrtle was a GEM and she knew the importance of true happiness. Bianca deserves to be truly happy once and for all. Bianca has the making of Myrtle, and I can see her being to others as Mertle was to her, an inspiration. Plus she is absolutely beautiful!

AMC Viewers you're love for the show hasn't shown in the ratings the last years. The storyline of Bianca and Reese have brought a whole new audience with them and those ratings will show soon enough. As for the "in your face" scene - give me a break - it's a soap, we see people in bed having sex at noon time while your watching your kids. Two people kissing is hardly a slap in the face, well actually if you did feel a smack, that's you being hit with ignorance. Honestly, when you really care about the characters and they "care" about each other (I know its acting!) you will find yourself smiling and wanting things to turn out well for them. I've been watching AMC for 30 years (my Mom got me hooked) and love the Bianca character and the depth that Eden has given her. Imagine! Bianca the quiet, guiding example of love and compassion who makes Erica, Kendall and others think twice about their wicked ways!!!! How fun!

AMC WRITERS, I am disappointed with the "In your face", forced scenes of Bianca and Reese kissing. I love your show but this was too much. You can tell it's forced, it didn't look natural (and I personally don't consider it to be natural, truth be known). I loved Tamara as Carly and think she's a great actress, but this role doesn't suit her and it belittles her acting abilities. You can still have a storyline with Bianca while leaving this kind of stuff out. I have appreciated the roles you've taken on to get out information on cancer, rape, teen pregnancy and hope these will be the kinds of things you continue to bring to the attention of the public. But please, keep the sex scenes to a minimum and don't try to force-feed us homosexuality. We already know it's there.

If you equate love and relationship with sexual perversion you are probably leading a very sheltered, unsatisfied life (maybe too much time watching the soaps and the lives of fictional characters). My examples are very applicable because, in their day, people like you looked upon those issues with the same disgust and fear. What! Women Vote! (Women went to jail and were tortured because people were so disgusted) What! Blacks as citizens – even human. (Blacks were beaten in the street to be so presumptuous) Please! This is an age-old fight that eventually works its way through the generations until new views and reason take hold. The recent election is a perfect example. We will have a black President and, although we have come a long way, there are some out there (hopefully not you) who are rabid and disgusted at the thought. Come on now, think about it. Denying the rights of gays and lesbians is no different than denying women the right to vote or have credit or equal pay, blacks the right to be full citizens and vote, for disabled people to have fair and equal access, and a long list of other injustices that have plagued our country because of the dominance of white, Christian male (and now female) fear and power. Fight, be disgusted, poison your children, offend your friends and family (there’s a gay in there somewhere), cling to your out-dated, unloving ways all you want but gays and lesbians will have full and equal rights one day! I’ve come here over the past few days to see the latest input and still can’t believe the fuss over a kiss. I guess I just shake my head that people can be so narrow minded and self-interested. If your son walks in the room (Drhodes13), explain that the world is a diverse place and a benefit of being an American is choosing whom you love. Go ahead and re-enforce your position if you need to yet give your kid a chance. Children are going to go out in the world and we do them a disservice not to educate them on all aspects of life. Doesn’t mean you have to agree or participate but at the very least admit alternatives exist. And, BTW, drop the Adam and Eve line, IT’S A STORY; just like the Soaps!

I love Bianca's character, but I watch AMC for entertainment, not moral lessons. I also must tell you that I love Tamara Braun! I wish she could go back and play Carly again on GH; she was the best!

Latest story line ranks an F!!! I hate to have to stop watching this show after all of these years, but you're leaving me with no choice. I AM REPULSED. For the sake of a FEW you are offending the MAJORITY with this story line, yet here we are. Where is YOUR loyalty to US, your lifelong faithul viewers?? I had to jump out of my seat for my remote when the scene of two women kissing came on and my son walked into the room. We are a family; man,wife and children, as God intended. I have watch AMC since the very first day and almost never missed an episode. Before VCR's I would listen to it on my radio that received TV signal and progressed along with technology. I've even gone to see some of your stars in person along with Super Soap Weekend. I have struggled with this lesbian storyline with Bianca from the beginning but now it's gone way too far. I can't and won't expose myself to this anylonger. As of today I will never watch AMC again. This is so sad.

I have watched AMC for 25 years think that it is unecesary to see the kissing (or male either). Being gay or implied on TV is one thing but in your face is another. If it continues I will not watch AMC nor buy their advertising products! Also, I think there is a bit too much nudity on TV anyway, period!

Get your head out the sand! The world isn’t changing its just more people and lifestyles are being recognized. Just because it’s not your lifestyle – well, don’t get me started! Credit to “Jessieidaho” who at least is honest enough to say the hetro scenes make her uncomfortable. The rest of you are hypocrites! Bet you don’t change channels or complain on the blog when a bedroom scene shows up with a well-oiled, six-pack guy lounging in the afterglow of sex with some stunning woman. Hypocrites & Selfish! Oh, it’s ok for everyone else to put up with your kind of sex scenes! Grow up! It’s a Kiss! If you can’t let your favorite show and characters introduce you to new things in life in the privacy of your own home, then you’re facing a very sad, angry life. Think about it. Really, just think about it. AND, one more thing, you have every right to feel the way you feel but don’t blame the fall of children, the American family, morals, etc. on the gay lifestyle. Hetro’s have done plenty to screw up those things themselves. How many times has Erica been married? PLEASE!

I have watched AMC for over 30 years and am sad to say, I will stop watching due to the IN YOUR FACE kissing episode. I have always liked the role of Bianca and was okay with her sexual preference as long as I didn't have to particiate or experience her alternative lifestyle.

I have watched AMC for over 30yrs. and I am just disgusted with the show. Please find another storyline for Bianca. Don't wont to see the affection between two women on TV, especially daytime.

I have watched "All My Children" almost from day one. If I couldn't be home at noon when the show aired in California I taped it. I have watch AMC for so many years I feel that many of the characters are my friends. As much as it hurts me I will no longer watch. Watching Lesbians in intimate scene I cannot tolerate. I personally don't even enjoy watching heterosexual couples in bed. You have very fine actors on AMC and watching them interact with one another is the best part of the show. I am also very disappointed you killed Babe off to make room for the Lesbian couple. I am sorely tempeted to write to your advertisers and infrom them I will not buy their products as long as they advertise on your show. I assure you I am not alone in these feelings.

You young people have no class im sorry but i dont get excited to see 2 women kissing.There is no need for that on tv,next will have nudity and God knows what else.You people in Hollywood are so liberal your messing up our young childrens minds then u wonder why our world is the way it is.Well your right i can turn off my tv.It wont be long we wont have anything decent to watch. Well if it continues you lost a viewer. Im so tired of these gays wanting to push there way of life on everyone sorry but your not normal so keep it off tv and stop trying to please them its a sick way of life,go read ur bible oh yea whats a bible and who is God dah thats why so many are messed up anything to do with God is a no no and that is why this world is so messed up and it is sad. Thank you Ms. Nixon, the writers, producers and Eden & Tamara for the story of Bianca and Reese!!!!! I watched AMC when I was in college, Jenny & Greg, Angie & jessie and Tad and Liza were the young ones on the show. I have not watched AMC until this storyline! Thank you for representing the lesbian community on your show! It is great to see that the characters are in a committed relationship, they are a stable couple, raising a family, working and loving each other! I have to admit that when "Reese" showed up at "Bianca's" door and all she got was a hug...I was hesitant! However, the proposal...yes indeed, the kiss was there! I was looking for same and hoping that AMC would have the guts to see an onscreen lesbian kiss! Thank you! I hope that they can work the camera angle to see more than just the back of their heads! This story line brought me back to AMC and it will keep me for as long as the story is there! I hope that they can become a main stay on the show and now a sweeps ploy! My wife and I have been together for 20 years, 5 months and 2 weeks. I had the honor and privilege of giving our daughter's hand in marriage this summer! It was the single most honor of my life!!! Hopefully, AMC will stay with this story line for years to come! I would love to see a strong lesbian relationship stay on AMC, ABC, daytime TV, any tv time would be a honor for the LGBT community! Who Cares that they are Gay. I am repulsed by the disgusting display of their intimacy. I understand and appreciate Soaps that bring to view situations - such as: aids, teen pregnancy, cancer - that may or possibly will affect someone we know, our neighbors, family or friends. To display gay love and expressions in detail is TMI. I started watching AMC as a teen and still adore Erica, however, this vein of reality is not interesting, informative, relative to many of us who have watched for 40++ years. Small scenes of the gay reality would be acceptable, however, to enlongate the kissing, dancing is repulsive. I surely hope they are not going to do a sex scene - that would be unconscionable. Information, entertainment and relevant issues and situations win academy awards. However, with this changing world, lack of respect, morals, conscience, ANYTHING GOES - who knows. I personally am disappointed and appauled at the Tamara/Eden scene from Monday 10-2-08 - disgusting! Happy I am going and not coming into this creepy new age world. Some people are born without the balance of hormones and cannot be chastised because of their sexual orientations - Natures Queerisms - However, I do not like it thrown in my face - I don not like parades of Gays delaying my travel time and frankly I don't care what they do to each other and I resent them slapping me in the face with their displays on daytime TV.

Come on people its life and you sound like my sister look if your so by the book you would be watching TBN.My mom and argue over her court tv shows,but soaps are my get away and i tape them all and watch them all.Some issues are far fetched but most are life affecting one way or another.I'm glad AMC has the guts to do what they do and if the actors don't mind why should you.If you don't know one gay person your not living in the real world.So get over it,or watch TBN for and hour or three.I've been watching for 34 yrs and will continue too til one of us goes first.Thanks ALL MY CHILDREN

Once again narrow minded America raises its ugly head. Thank you AMC for taking risks. I'd been away from the show for a while, but the new story line between Bianca and Reese has brought me back as well as my Mother. I may not agree with all the story lines, but who does? And not only that, it's TV those who don't like can simply turn it off. There will be others who will jump in and be supportive. Thanks again, AMC!

OK- I am SICK...ewwwwwwww Do you HAVE to bring in a story line taht is amoral to most of us?? Come on- we knew that Bianca was supposed to be gay- and could 'kind of accept that'- BUT THIS??? This lesian kissing? Made me so mad I turned off the TV- called two friends- they are equally disgusted!! Well great- I guess it will work out as we have decided to use our "new found hour" to WALK together!! We are so tired of this gay crap....so- we are turning it OFF. Good by after 25 years I am DONE unless I find that Bianca has 'left the building'.

Ah, the joys of television. Don’t like what’s on; change the channel or turn off the TV! And, if you’re really tired of the sex on soaps then you’ve not been paying attention -- unless, of course, you only like to watch the “well-lit, steamy, draped in satin sheets male/female sex” then you’re just a hypocrite! Good ole’ fashioned values have nothing to do with what’s on TV. Its probably more to do with people (parents) who are spending their time watching these shows instead of spending “wholesome” time with their children, or saying and enforcing the word “No” or parents not having those important talks with their children about what they do see and hear on TV, the playground, at the mall, school, or on the internet, etc. “Children today!” Humfph! Every generation has complained about “kids today.” Come up with something new! Blaming the gay lifestyle on the fall of the American family is a cop-out. How about taking responsibility for raising children who don't take their commitments seriously. Divorce rate, indeed! Oh, and btw, I didn’t like the kiss either. And I really sat for a while and wondered why. It wasn’t the kiss between two women that bothered me. It was the kiss between two women who didn’t want to kiss each other. I’ve enjoyed Bianca’s storylines in the past when she’s had love interests yet I feel like those characters had a connection and that you cared about them. Honestly, I haven’t watch AMC recently and just happened upon it today. So for me to speak in any detail about the current storyline may not be fair. Yet, even when Bianca and Reese were sitting on the couch they didn’t look comfortable with each other. I think the kiss was awkward because there’s no chemistry (and funny enough, its called acting)! Like most love stories you have to believe! Once people like the characters and believe them – a kiss may actually not matter; but you’re glad they did it. AMC – you may have lost a few narrow minded viewers today but I’ll be back just to see if I c
