I've been watching AMC & OLTL for only 3.5 years now. Actually, I had to back off from daily to a few times per month, and @ times even only about twice per month. I'm lost. I don't understand the lack of moral of the characters. Nobody respects the institution of marriage or relationship. On OLTL, everybody calls Todd "deranged," (and he is @ times, I hate that he hurt the other kids, Starr's friends. Does Todd have a brain tumor or some sort like what Jonathan on AMC had that made him kill people?), but he loves & protects his family. When Todd was a very young collegiate, he made a very foolish mistake. How many years must he pay for his horrendous mistake? Why is he the only one not forgiven for his crime? Would this Marty please forgive Todd? Todd doesn't sleep around. Blair is a , so is John McV. & he is a crooked cop, who abuses his power. Why do JR & Adam have to be crazy just because the went ballistic over the fact that their sluttish wives cheated on them?

The best storyline was Nikki/Vikki. I remember Vikki being married to Joe Reilly. The very first appearance of Dorian Lord with her sister Melinda. Melinda married Dr. Larry Wolack. Larry had an older borther Det. Vinny Wolack who married Wanda, waitress at a local dinner. Then of course, there was Capt. Ed Hall and beautiful wife Carla, who adopted son Josh (Lawrence Fishburne). It's hard to believe I've been watching OLTL, AMC and GH for so many years. What's more amazing is my recall of favorite characters and storylines. Hats off to all three soaps.

You gotta love it. I told a friend of mine that Tommy Lee Jones was a regular on OLTL years ago, and he did not believe me. Ha

Congratulations One Life to Live. I love the show...my favorite was Vicki and Ben and also I love Nicki! Vicki you need to bring Nicki back. Great pictures I remember them all.

Hey! just want to say that I've watched oltl since 1976. I love you guys! Now with Viki, Charlie, Tina, and the 1968 WOW!! You guys are AWESOME!!!!!!

Melissa was just beautiful. Her coming to town and that fight with Jessica I remember so well. She has really grown. I miss everyone!

I also remember skiping school so that I could watch OLTL. I just want to say congrats to everyone on OLTL!!!! you guys ROCK!!

It hard to believe has the show has been on 40 yrs. The show has a lot of special memories to me for my grandmother who past watched that show for years and the last few year I watched with her and I still have to watch it for it is a very good show one of the best soaps ever.

this is wonderful to look back at all this pics and realize, i remember most of those scenes. oh wait, is it that wonderfu? lol, yes it is. i dont mind admitting i used to act sick as a child so i could stay home and watch the soaps.
