Personal: For a TV legend, Anthony got an unlikely start. He grew up in Coalville, Utah -- population 800! He studied theater at the University of Utah, where he also ran track and competed as a swimmer. During his college days, he joined a touring production of "The Subject Was Roses." When the gig was over, he settled in Los Angeles -- where he still lives.

Professional: Anthony is a household name thanks to his "General Hospital" role as Luke Spencer, half of supercouple Luke and Laura. The Luke character debuted in 1991, and Anthony has earned five Daytime Emmys for it -- so far. But his first daytime appearance was on "The Young and the Restless" in 1973. Anthony's been in more TV shows than we could possibly list, from vintage sitcoms like "All in the Family" and "The Partridge Family" to action stuff like "Starsky and Hutch" and "The Six Million Dollar Man." He was even on "Roseanne" -- playing Luke Spencer!

Anthony's big screen work includes the '80s comedy "You Can't Hurry Love," the Weird Al vehicle "UHF," and Disney's animated "Teacher's Pet." But he's still in love with the theater. Over the years, he's been in such productions as "Jesus Christ Superstar," "The Glass Menagerie," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and "Barabbas."
