Congratulations, Kamar!

Huge congratulations to Kamar de los Reyes! The actor won an ALMA award for "Outstanding Performance in a Daytime Drama Series" this past Sunday for his portrayal of cop Antonio Vega on "One Life to Live." The ALMA (short for American Latino Media Arts) awards celebrate Latino performers in the entertainment field, including film, TV, and music.

It's not like he didn't have the material. Remember, last year was when Antonio learned that his wife, Jessica, was sleeping with Nash (AFTER Antonio gave up part of his liver for her)? At least poor Antonio ended up with foxy Talia. Except her dad is his arch-rival, and she's been forced into marriage to the Mendorran king and basically being kept prisoner there. Whatever.
